About Me!
Madison Mintzer is an Orlando-based performer who specializes in musical theatre performance. Originally hailing from St. Augustine, FL, Madison was lucky enough to always be surrounded by history, gorgeous beaches, and inspiring local artists. She is a self proclaimed multi-hyphenate, with skills in a variety of artistic fields including performing, directing, dramaturgy, devising, teaching, fight directing, and new play development. Madison is proud to be an advanced actor combatant and certified in eight stage combat weapon styles through the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD). She has also begun training to become a certified intimacy director through Intimacy Directors and Coordinators (IDC). As an actor, she has appeared in various shows all around the East Coast. Some of her favorite credits include A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Hermia), The Wild Party (Mae), Hello, Dolly! (Ernestina), and The Old Man and the Old Moon (Old Woman Track).
Madison has just finished her final semester at the University of Central Florida. She participated in a wide range of artistic experiences, from Associate Directing (and Fight & Intimacy Directing) TheatreUCF’s production of Peter and the Starcatcher, to Fight Directing Theatre UCF’s production of Sweeney Todd, to performing in her senior showcase, Knight to Shine: A Musical Theatre Showcase. She is also celebrating a year of being with Level Talent Group for commercial representation and 9 months of being with FireStarter Entertainment for Musical Theatre representation.
Madison’s passions include creating a safe and healthy space for creating art and trying new things. When she isn’t performing, she can be found trying to perfect her headstand in the yoga studio, learning Yiddish and Spanish, trying to work through her mile long “To Be Read” list, baking chocolate chip scones (and sharing them…sometimes), and begging her friends to teach her how to roller skate.
As of May 3, 2024, Madison is a GRADUATE of the BFA Musical Theatre program at the University of Central Florida and is looking forward to heading off to New York!
